What are infographics?

Infographics are graphic visual representations of data that are intended to present complex information quickly and clearly.

Whether you are a corporation trying to communicate earnings and innovations to investors, a designer looking for a job that needs a unique resume, an organization that needs to effectively communicate the issues they care about, or an educator teaching a challenging topic in a short amount of time, the problem remains the same:  how do you take the wealth of information at your disposal and effectively simplify and present it in an engaging and informative way? One answer is infographics.

One of the best parts about being a graphic designer is being able to take graphics and relay information through them. Over the past few years, infographics have been extremely popular amongst column writers and blogs. After all, there is no other cooler way to display your information than use these graphics. If I can find a way to avoid having to read a large block of text and read it through a sequence of graphics, you better believe I’ll opt for that!

The infographics can be anything from bar graphs and pie charts all the way to arrow graphics to show step sequences. In order to increase traffic on your website, you want infographics that people can share on social media. Seen Clear always adds social sharing options to all of our blog posts so once they’re on social media, the chances increase for them to go viral increase tremendously.
